Phils lose to Cards 7-1, Moyer headed to the DL. H2O=Halladay 2 Hamels 2 Oswalt

47 year old Jamie Moyer strained his elbow and lasted only 1 inning as it looks most like he will be headed to the 15 day DL. This happens the same day the Phillies demoted Kyle Kendrick to Triple A. He could be recalled back to the bigs but rumors are flying around the league this morning that the Phillies are searching for a starting pitcher in a trade. The big rumor is that the Phillies are trying to land Roy Oswalt from the Houston Astros, a move this blogger loves. Oswalt would come in and be your #3 starter, with a 123 punch of Halladay, Hamels & Oswalt I feel much better when our team takes the field, especially in a playoff series. This rotation will be known as H2O......(you heard it hear first on RTB) Problem is the Phils need the bats to wake up and provide some offense to back up some great pitching from there starters. Rumors are that Happ could be a big piece in the deal or even Werth could be moved in a possible 3 team deal with prospects going to Houston and Werth going to another club.
