Wip 610 Wing Bowl 19 at the Wells Fargo center has crowned this years champion.....Super Squibb. It's his 3rd career title and this year was one for the ages. He went up against wing eating legend El Wingador who came out of retirement this year. Both men ate away the competition and it was a 2 man battle in the final, and they both broke wing eating records. After it was all said and done, Super Squibb totalled 255 wings to El Wingador's 254. A one wing defeat. The 5 time champ El Wingador said he will not compete next year and plans to stay retired. Also at this years event was Kobayashi who broke the cheesesteak record by downing one in 24 seconds, smashing the previous record of 48 seconds. The legendary eater says he will compete in Wing Bowl 20 next year according to his translator. Porn star Mariah Carey was this years honorary wingette. Another successful year in what has become a great pre Super Bowl tradition in South Philly. All the strip clubs in the area are extremely thankful as thousands of people who attended are now flocking to Club Risque, Cheerleaders, Sho n Tell and other lovely establishments to continue celebrating.
