Cliff Lee likely to be a Yankee sooner rather then later. Werth too?

Reports from New York Posts Joel Sherman say that the Yankees are "on the brink" of making a deal for Mariner Cliff Lee. The Yankees would give up top prospect catcher Jesus Montero. The report states the only reason the hold up is that Seattle is still listening for counter offers from other teams such as Mets, Twins, and Rangers. Don't the Yankees already have a outstanding starting rotation?

Also the Yankees, Rays, and Red Sox are very interested in our own Jayson Werth. And the Phillies brass is listening. A sure sign that we won't be signing him in the off-season. So why not get the most for him since he will be a Type A free agent, and you can use that as value. A stud starting pitcher would do just fine. That would just be weird to see Werth & Lee in a Yankees uniform this postseason.
