The Phils took the 2nd game in a row with the Marlins in the first series since the all star break with a rain delayed game that lasted a little over 5 hours. Our WFC's won in the 12th inning 6-5 when Brad Lidge closed it down after a little shaky final few outs. Cole Hamels looked good only allowing 1 run in 5 innings that was cut short due to some Miami rain. The bullpen came in and let the Marlins get back in it but in the 12th the Phils got a couple of runs to pull ahead and eventually win the game. Tonight Joe Blanton battles against Josh Johnson for 3 in a row. One additional note I want to add...Is Chase Utley the man or what?!?!
