In 1995 as his Yankee tenure was ending Danny Tartabull compared leaving New York as "Getting released from Jail".Truer words have never been spoken.
But more importantly in 1997 the Phillies paid Tartabull 2 million dollars to play right field...for 3 games!!!
2 million dollars to show up for 3 baseball games and strikeout 4 times in eleven plate appearances. We'll take that deal!!
