It's not his 3 top ten finishes in batting, nor is it his two All Star Game appreances. But what makes Greg Jefferies a legend today is his ability to bring a crowd of strangers and rival fans together to jointly say " yea I remember him playing for my team....man I hated that guy".
Was it the curly hair?? The California approach?? The look that screamed "I deserve to be here so treat me that way"?? Who Knows.
