Eagles sign 1st Rounder Maclin, Time to Show up to Camp Kid

The Eagles locked up there speedy 1st rounder Jeremy Maclin for 5 years and 15.5 million. 9.5 million of that money is guaranteed. Maclin hopefully can step right in with 2nd year starter DeSean Jackson and the two can cause havoc all over the grid iron for opposing secondaries. Will the nine days he missed of camp hurt the rookie? Donovan McNabb thinks not, "He's a rookie," McNabb said. "You all act like he's been in the league for five or six years. You don't know what he's going to do anyway. All we ask of him is to catch the ball and get up field and score. That's all we ask. I think for him, at this point, it's a business aspect of things that we've all been through. It's not like he's the only one who's holding out. He'll be here. We'll be able to get some work and be able to see what we can get out of him this year."
So now it's time for the kid to get to work and hopefully this will be the start of a great career in Eagles green.
