On a night when J.A. Happ threw an absolute gem, Pedro Martinez was possibly making his final rehab start at Double A-Reading. He didn't dissapoint striking out 11 batters he faced in 6 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs and 5 hits and didn't walk any batters he faced. Nine of his first 12 outs were by strikeout as he threw 82 pitches in the game. Pedro looked good and it looks like the Phillies management is gonna have some decisions to make on who gets to pitch in the starting rotation or they could go to a 6 man rotation. No matter what happens it should be an exciting 2nd half of the season as we push towards the playoffs.
